Week 00 - One Day Until my Trip !
Reflections from Jim’s Yellow Jersey
Hello Friends and Family,
I am just one day away from starting my bicycle journey across the USA . I will be riding a road bicycle with drop handlebars and 16 speeds. The bicycle is equipped with electronic shifting, rear radar, and GPS for navigation. I will be riding with 10 other riders, two guides, and a support van. The support van will carry our food and luggage to each hotel.
On the start of a cross country bicycle trip, it is tradition to dip your rear wheel in the Pacific ocean. Our ride starts at the pier below in Ocean City ,Ca. The pier is closed due to storm damage, so I posted a previous picture.

The Ride Starts here ! Watch for my picture on the next post
Below are Thank You ! Acknowledgements for People that helped me get ready.
